The Food Bank:
- Located on Belmont Street in a building owned by the provincial government.
- Provides hampers containing at least a three-day supply of food for each family member once monthly. The food bank provided the equivalent of more than 198,000 meals to 7,395 families in FY 2005-2006.
- In addition to preparing and distributing hampers, the food bank manager and volunteers manage the inventory of perishable and nonperishable food items that are donated by businesses, farms, organizations and individuals during food drives throughout the year.
- Hamper Hours: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-11am
- Operating Hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm
